KEYNOTE: Jessica Semaan

Born and raised in Lebanon, Jessica attended Stanford Business School where she was the president of the Middle East club as well as the Hospitality club. After graduation in 2011, Jessica joined Airbnb where she scaled its Customer Service from 10 employees to over 150. She then moved to work for hotelier and award winning writer Chip Conley on special projects including Airbnb’s first global conference Airbnb Open.

In 2015, Jessica decided to follow her passion and start The Passion Company, a movement that inspires and enables people to find and live their passions through community, education and action. Featured in Forbes, Women 2.0, The Passion Co.’s flagship program was taught at Stanford earlier this year and has graduated so far 500 students. Jessica is in the process of launching her book, 101 Passion Stories that profiles stories of 100 people doing what they love full-time. Additionally, Jessica is on the board of the Arab Film Festival and is the co-founder of 11 Empowered an organization that supports education for girls in developing countries.
